The Committee of Participants is the governing body of the Global System of Trade Preferences (GSTP), a partnership framework for South-South trade cooperation.
This session will feature a high-level segment and two special panel sessions, with the aim to examine emerging opportunities for deepening South–South trade cooperation under the GSTP and inform the deliberation of the Committee. The sessions will cover the following themes:
- Integrating export-oriented South-South value chains
- Finance, investment and technology as levers of a sustainable GSTP implementation
GSTP participants will also take stock of the current state of play in the GSTP, discuss possible areas of cooperation, and receive an update on the workplan 2026-2028.
The event will be hosted by the President of the GSTP, H. E. Omar Zniber, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Morocco.

Participation in this meeting is reserved for the delegations of the parties to the GSTP Agreement.* The members of the Group of 77 and China that are not party of the GSTP are welcome to attend as observer.
